With a wide range of grants available it can be a daunting process finding the right one for you. Together with our technical knowledge and previous experience we can guide you through the whole process from expressing an interest to the final claim.

LEADER

Priorities Deadline Funding 
Funding towards projects which:

  • Support Agriculture
  • Support small enterprise and diversification
  • Support Rural Tourism
  • Support provisions of rural services
  • Support for increasing forestry productivity
  • Support for cultural and heritage activities

  • Very limited funding may be available specific to Local Authority area.

Growth Development Programme

Priorities Deadline Funding 
Funding towards:

  • Business Development
  • Food Processing
  • Rural Tourism

Based on the overall cost of the project

Hedgerow and Boundary Grant

Priorities Deadline Funding 
Funding for:

  • Planting new hedgerows
  • Gapping up
  • Stonewall restoration
  • Deadline of 1st May 2020.
  • Applications have now close

Countryside Productivity Small Grant Scheme

Priorities Deadline Funding 
Funding towards specific items of equipment which provide improvements to:

  • Technical efficiency
  • Animal health and welfare
  • Resource efficiency
  • Nutrient management
  • Round two closed.
  • Round three anticipated for Autumn 2020.
Grant funding available £3,000 – £12,000 based on 40% of ‘standard’ cost of item.

Countryside Stewardship

Priorities Deadline Funding 
Financial incentives to help farmers protect wildlife, create new habitats and reduce flood risk.

You can apply for either:

  • Wildlife Offer
  • Mid-Tier Stewardship Scheme
  • Open
  • If incorporating water capital items, contact must be made with Catchment Sensitive Farming Officer (CSFO) by 31st May 2020.
  • Deadline for downloading Mid-Tier application packs is 30th June.
  • Deadline for applications is 31st July 2020.
Based on options chosen.

Water Capital Grant

Priorities Deadline Funding 
Funding towards items which improve water quality such as:

  • Livestock and machinery tracks
  • Concrete yard renewal
  • Roofing over spray wash down and livestock areas
  • Yard drainage
  • Rainwater goods
  • Gateway relocation
  • Open
  • Contact must be made with a Catchment Sensitive Farming Officer (CSFO) by 31st May 2020.
  • Deadline for applications is 31st July 2020.
Each option has a payment rate. A stand alone Water Capital Grant is capped at £10,000, however when used with a Mid-Tier Countryside Stewardship scheme there is no maximum limit.

The Farming Recovery Fund

Priorities Deadline Funding 
To assist farmers afected by flooding during 2019 and the first 2 months of 2020.

Location specific.

  • Open
£500 – £25,000 depending on options.

Woodland Creation Grant

Priorities Deadline Funding 
Funding for planting new woodland, minimum area of woodland planting is 3 ha.
  • Open all year round
Dependant of area of woodland planted but £1.28/tree planted and £1.60/unit for tree shelters.
