“If I were running British Agriculture I would …”

WE WOULD LIKE TO TAKE THIS OPPORTUNITY TO REMIND YOU THAT THE PERSHORE NFU CONFERENCE IS TAKING PLACE AT PERSHORE COLLEGE ON:

21st January 2016 at 7.30pm

Hosted by the Pershore and Upton upon Severn branch of the NFU, the theme of this year’s conference is to provoke a debate on how the panel would do things if they were in charge.

There will be a welcome address  from Sophie Howard of Crowthers Chartered Accountants

Sophie is a Director of Crowthers Chartered Accountants and has a growing reputation as one of the very few specialist agricultural accountants in the area.

The discussion will take place between Guy Smith – NFU Vice President

Guy has always been well received in Pershore before and always has an interesting point of view.   We look forward to hearing his thoughts on how he would do things given the chance.

Mike Gooding  – Farmer and Consultant

Past Chairman of the Oxford Farming conference who commissioned a report into farming’s value to society “Realising the Opportunity” which set out to shape an industry’s view of its own role in wider society.

Joe Evans – Whitbourne Estate

Joe was recently awarded the Three Counties young agricultural entrepreneur 2015.  For his latest project Green Cow Kitchens. Joe has established a thriving business and is involved in the commercial shoot and other aspects of running the family business.  We hope to bring a younger perspective to the evening by finding out what Joe would do.

This event is sponsored by Carver Knowles, Shakspeare Martineau and Crowthers Chartered Accounts
